Volunteer with VITA
We are looking for awesome volunteers to join our team!
- Time Commitment: 3+ hours per week from January to April 15.
- Required to become an IRS certified tax preparer.
- Training and assistance provided throughout the certification process.
- Training can be completed online.
- In-person training sessions in January
- Support is readily available at all times.
- We operate as a team to accurately apply tax law while preparing client returns.
- All returns are reviewed by a second tax preparer prior to filing.
- Skills needed: A desire to learn and the ability to assist a diverse clientele.
- All training materials provided by the IRS.
- We prepare tax returns in person and virtually.
