How do I schedule an appointment?

We will have select availability at the Boise Public Library through the summer. Appointments will be limited to one day per month. Please visit our scheduling link for our current availability. Space will be limited.

Please note: We have limited available appointments during the off-season.

What documents should I bring to my appointment?

Please have these items available so that we can prepare your return:

  • VITA Intake Form – Please complete this form and bring it with you to your appointment. If you are unable to print, please email the complete form to [email protected] prior to your appointment.
  • Photo ID
  • Social Security card(s)
  • Income Forms (W-2s, 1099s)
  • Documentation for other income and/or expense
  • Bank account information (voided check) for direct deposit
  • Prior year tax return
  • Identity Protection PIN-if you have been issued one in the past 5 years, we need the PIN for the current tax year. Request one from the IRS here.
  • Please note: If you do not provide all required documents, we will not be able to complete the tax return.
